Thank you for taking the time to read some of the EPP policies outlined in this manifesto section. We hope you will find items of interest in policies which you, as a supporter or interested party, are able to identify with.

We are happy to receive suggestions on policy and would welcome your input.

EPP recognises that we are living in a constantly changing world. Unlike the other main parties this party is pro-active and our policies reflect this position. The dynamic of this manifesto is illustrated by the quarterly updates to the policies should they require it.

Below is a brief summary and you can view the full policy papers from the contents shown on the left.


Agriculture & Fisheries

Secure a National Food Supply by encouraging farmers to grow food again.

To provide incentives to produce food not to keep parks.

Restore our 200-mile Fishing Limit and help replenish fish stocks.

New scheme to assist farmers with Supplies to the Supermarkets.


Asylum & Immigration

Impose strict controls on Immigration.

Only applicants with a secure job offer will be allowed into this country.

No automatic English citizenship.

No extended families admitted.

No Asylum for any person who has passed through a safe country before entering England. Instant repatriation.


Culture, Media & Sport

Abolition of the BBC licence tax.

Build new Sports, Recreation and Entertainment Facilities.

Lottery Tickets to have “Spending Preference” panels.


Defence

Maintain adequate Military Forces for our safe defence.

Increase Pay and Privileges of Service Personal in combat zones.

Ask the people before decision on war if no threat exists to England or its assets.

Revise the process of selection of the Chiefs of Staff.

Defence alliance, with participation, for our Dependencies and UK Countries


Education

Provide a “School of your Choice” Voucher Scheme.

New Code of Conduct Guide and remedies, for Disruptive Pupils or persistent Truants .

New school apprenticeships for 14 year olds

Complete revision of University Fees.


Employment

Early Retirement for public sector employees will be reviewed.

The genuinely Sick and Disabled will be provided with help & assistance.

The Unemployed will be encouraged to take a job within three months

We shall release 1,000,000 public sector employees enabling them to work in the private sector.


Environment

Develop new “clean” Fuels, for all uses.

Research Wind, Wave and Solar Power and any other possible options. Without cluttering the countryside with wind farms.

Increase our Re-Cycling facilities.

Urgent construction of Nuclear Power Stations


Foreign Affairs

Maintain friendship and trade links with the USA & expand Friendships and Trading Agreements across the World.

Exit the authoritarian and undemocratic European Union, but retain friendships and trading links.

Support and remain Members of NATO.

Defence alliance, with participation, for our Dependencies and UK Countries.

England will withdraw the Human Rights Act retaining some of the legislation. We shall remove the element that prevent us from removing terrorists and unwanted guests etc.

England will review its continued support for the UN convention relating to the status of Refugees.    


                                                                    Health Service

Introduce a “Hospital of your Choice” Voucher Scheme.

Develop specialist hospitals, as “Centres of Excellence”.

Bring back Matron!

Retain and assist Cottage Hospitals and Residential Homes.

Prevent abuse of NHS “Free Treatment”.

Full employment for English Doctors & Nurses

Restrictions on 3rd World medical staff recruitment.


Home Affairs

Immunity from prosecution when defending yourself against Intruders.

Referendum on the Death Penalty.

Council Tax replaced with local sales tax

Support for heterosexual marriage.

Political Correctness will be abolished

Public Referendums to be held on local and national projects.  

All Planning Regulations will be reviewed and local objections will be given more consideration.

Tax allowance increased for voters.

All Public Service Heads, including police, will be Elected.

We shall reduce the number of Quangos by 75%

Use more “Brown-Field” Sites for Housing Developments but not back gardens.

Controlled Building on Green Belt land.

Sell off Tower Blocks, for Private Development


Law & Order

Introduce “Zero Tolerance” on all Crimes.

Landlords responsible for Customer over-consumption

React to “Acts of Treason”.

Reinstate Police Houses on estates, and increase foot patrols.

Police to work until 65, for their pension qualification.

Tackle Prostitution and Drugs in a new way.

Paedophiles - 2nd offence - life term.

Pensioners will receive an adequate non means-tested State Pension.

Abolition of the Tax Levy on Private Pensions.

Abolition of Inheritance Tax below £1 million.

Index linked public sector pensions will be abolished and that includes MP's Pensions.


Tax & Finance

Review early retirement Pension rights.

New “Mother-to-be” Contracts.

Company Tax Incentives for re-locating to the North of England.

Direct Financing for Schools and Hospitals.

Replace VAT with a Sales Tax.

Review the Tax on Alcohol and Tobacco.

Sales Tax will replace Council Tax

Removal of tax on savings interest


                           Trade & Industry

Support and expand our Research and Development facilities.

Work closely with Trade Unions to develop and rebuild key elements of our manufacturing industries.

Apply Trade Restrictions on undemocratic Regimes.


Transport

Fuel Tax Reduction for essential users.

Road Tax included in price of fuel.

Vehicle Insurance Disc to be displayed.

Review all road Speed Limits.

Plan and develop a new system of Free Tramway networks.


Finally – The Flag of St. George will be flown from all Schools, Churches, Factories and Public Buildings at all times.
