Paul Gilbert of Stafford, and his colleagues, have all worked tirelessly to restore responsibility for the governance of Britain, to Westminster.
The lack of public
accountability,
refusal
to accept responsibility and the dilution of local democracy, endorsed by
today's political representatives, together with their refusal to be influenced
by public opinion, confirmed that action was needed to reform today's political
hypocrisy.
EPP is not associated with any of today's failed politicians and their failed policies. We do not seek to attract politicians who have failed this country or who are tainted by scandal. On the contrary, people will once again be proud to be called English, Welsh, Scottish or Irish.
We have laid out a new, radical manifesto and will campaign on this political platform for the election of candidates who will genuinely represent the will of the people and address their concerns.
Our Aim is to secure a majority in Parliament, implement
common sense policies which accurately reflect the will and aspirations of the
people of England, Great Britain and its Dependent Territories.

Since the election of New Labour the 3 main political parties
have realigned themselves. Labour - under Blair's leadership - moved towards the
"middle ground" of politics and,
at the annoyance of the Tories, stole some of the Tory clothes.
Brown is continuing with his Tax & Spend policies and finally realising that he
has run out of money and ideas.
Even in their present position,
under the leadership of David
Cameron, the
Tories are unlikely to have a working
Government majority when a General Election is finally called, particularly as
"new liberal conservatives" are ditching
their support for Grammar Schools and other traditional policies. What is even
more staggering is their stated adherence to Labour's tax and spending plans
should they be the next government. Still, what more can we expect from a Blair Clone.
The Liberals, under their latest leader
Nick
Clegg, have assumed their natural position on the left of politics.
Their high tax, high spend policies challenge Labour’s traditional position but
fails to complete the political circle.
The continuing stories of sleaze involving all three major parties is a concern to us all. The Cash for Honours and MPs' expenses have illustrated, admirably, the corrupt culture of our present parliamentarians. We must remove the patronage from politics and completely revise our electoral system. EPP does not support the proposal to fund political parties with taxpayers money. The three main parties are the architects of their own downfall and the general public are becoming increasingly disconnected from the democratic process. If political parties are unable to attract legitimate funding then so be it.
England’s Parliamentary Party was formed to provide a real alternative. EPP offers the electorate a fresh approach to politics with radical new ideas to safeguard the interests of English men and women
This will be achieved with a separate Parliament for England - without an additional layer of bureaucracy - and independence from Europe. EPP will form an alliance of UK Neighbours and Traditional Dependencies which will protect the interests of all its member states. England will operate as a major global player, strategically, financially and commercially.
EPP will restore the identity that England has lost as a result of self serving politicians content to dance to the tune of their foreign masters whether in Europe, the Middle East or Asia etc. EPP will restore the traditional values that England has lost as a result of these same politicians selling out to "multi-culturalism" and "political correctness" at home. The results of which, we are now becoming only too familiar with.
